Wedding booking Terms & Conditions

1. Securing Your Wedding Date
Wedding enquiries do not reserve a date. Your date is secured only once Nightingale Florals has confirmed availability, the booking has been accepted and the required £100 booking deposit has been received. The booking deposit is applied towards your wedding floristry balance.

2. Wedding Flower Estimate Builder
Any estimate generated through our website is an initial guide only. It does not constitute a quotation or reserve your date. Your formal quotation will be based on your individual wedding requirements.

3. Quotation
Your quotation is based on the information and requirements discussed at the time it is prepared. Changes to quantities, designs, flowers, venue requirements, delivery or installation may alter the final price. Any quotation validity period stated on your quotation will apply.

4. Final Consultation & Payment
Your final wedding consultation will normally take place approximately six weeks before your wedding. At this stage we will confirm final quantities, designs, colour palette, delivery, venue styling, installation requirements and other agreed details. The remaining balance is due six weeks before your wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Changes to Your Order
Please contact Nightingale Florals as early as possible if you wish to change your requirements. Changes are subject to flower and material availability and may affect your quotation. Once flowers and materials have been ordered, certain reductions or cancellations may no longer be possible.

6. Flower Availability & Colour
Flowers are natural, seasonal products. Specific flower varieties cannot always be guaranteed. Where necessary, Nightingale Florals may substitute an unavailable flower with an appropriate alternative that maintains the agreed overall style, colour and quality as closely as reasonably possible. Natural flowers vary in colour and shade, so exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

7. Inspiration Photographs
Inspiration photographs are welcome and will be used to understand your preferred style rather than copied exactly. Every Nightingale Florals wedding is individually designed.

8. Delivery & Venue Access
The couple is responsible for providing accurate venue details and ensuring Nightingale Florals has suitable access at the agreed time. Please inform us of venue restrictions, access arrangements, loading requirements, parking charges and set-up deadlines. Additional costs caused by previously undisclosed venue requirements may be chargeable where reasonable.

9. Moving Ceremony Flowers
Where agreed, some ceremony arrangements may be repositioned for your reception. This must be discussed in advance so appropriate designs, timings and labour can be planned.

10. Hire Items
Vases, vessels, stands, structures and other equipment supplied on a hire basis remain the property of Nightingale Florals. Hire items must not be removed, disposed of or retained unless agreed. The customer may be responsible for loss or damage beyond reasonable wear and tear.

11. Cancellation by the Couple
If you need to cancel your wedding floristry, please notify Nightingale Florals in writing as soon as possible. Any refund or remaining payment obligation will depend on the timing of cancellation, work already undertaken, materials committed to the booking and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights.

12. Postponement
If your wedding is postponed, please contact Nightingale Florals as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to transfer your booking to the new date, subject to availability. If Nightingale Florals is unavailable on the new date, the booking may need to be treated as a cancellation in accordance with applicable terms and consumer law.

13. Cancellation by Nightingale Florals
If exceptional circumstances mean Nightingale Florals cannot fulfil your booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and provide the remedies required under your agreement and applicable law.

14. Photography & Liability
Nightingale Florals may request permission to use photographs of our floral work for our portfolio, website and social media. Professional photographs will be used subject to appropriate photographer permissions and credits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
