Flower Bar Terms & Conditions

1. Flower Bar Hire
Unless otherwise agreed, Flower Bar hire is equipment hire only. The standard package may include the Flower Bar stand, flower buckets, tables, scissors, mirror and flower bags. The exact items included will be confirmed when booking. Flowers are not included unless specifically agreed as an additional floristry service.

2. Hire Price
Standard Flower Bar hire is £150 plus a £150 refundable security deposit. The security deposit is held against loss, damage, excessive cleaning or failure to return the equipment as agreed.

3. Securing Your Date
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve your date. Your booking is confirmed once availability has been confirmed, the required booking details have been provided and the required payment has been received.

4. Collection & Transport
Unless otherwise agreed, Flower Bar equipment is collected from Willington, Derbyshire. The collection date, time and location will be agreed before your event. The customer is responsible for using a suitably sized vehicle, checking the supplied equipment and transporting it safely.

5. Setting Up & Venue
Unless a set-up service has been agreed, the customer is responsible for setting up the Flower Bar. Equipment must be positioned on a stable surface, kept away from hazards, not obstruct emergency routes and be protected from adverse weather. The customer is responsible for confirming venue permission and restrictions.

6. Flowers
For standard hire, the customer supplies their own flowers. Nightingale Florals is not responsible for the quality, suitability, condition or quantity of flowers purchased from another supplier. Flowers can be supplied by Nightingale Florals under a separate quotation.

7. Use & Care of Equipment
Flower Bar equipment remains the property of Nightingale Florals & Events at all times. It must not be altered, painted, drilled, glued, stapled, cut, permanently decorated or used for an unintended purpose. The customer is responsible for reasonable care of the equipment from collection until accepted back by Nightingale Florals.

8. Scissors & Safety
The Flower Bar may include scissors or other floristry equipment. The customer is responsible for ensuring these are used safely and appropriately. Sharp equipment should be kept away from young children unless appropriately supervised.

9. Return
All equipment must be returned at the agreed date and time, normally to Willington, Derbyshire. All supplied items must be returned. Buckets and equipment should be emptied of flowers, water and waste and returned in a reasonably clean condition.

10. Late Returns
Late returns can affect another customer’s booking. If you may be unable to return equipment on time, contact Nightingale Florals as soon as possible. Where a significantly late return without prior agreement causes additional costs or losses, reasonable additional charges may apply.

11. Security Deposit
Following return, Nightingale Florals will check the equipment. Provided everything is returned on time, in the condition reasonably expected, with no items missing and without damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, the £150 security deposit will be returned using the agreed method.

12. Damage, Missing Equipment & Cleaning
Where the customer is responsible for damage, loss or excessive cleaning, reasonable repair, replacement or cleaning costs may be deducted from the security deposit. If reasonable repair or replacement costs exceed the deposit, the customer may be responsible for the additional reasonable cost, subject to applicable law. Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

13. Cancellation & Date Changes
If you need to cancel or change your event date, please notify Nightingale Florals as soon as possible. Transfers are subject to availability. Any refund will depend on timing, costs already incurred and applicable consumer rights. The equipment security deposit will not be retained for equipment that has not been hired except where another lawful payment obligation applies.

14. Cancellation by Nightingale Florals
If Nightingale Florals cannot provide the booked equipment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Where we cancel and cannot provide an agreed alternative, payments for the unavailable hire will be refunded as required.

15. Photography, Liability & Privacy
Nightingale Florals may ask for permission to use photographs of the Flower Bar at your event. The customer is responsible for safe possession and appropriate use of the equipment throughout the hire period. Nothing within these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Nightingale Florals Privacy Policy.
