A short story about the couple's brief
Eleanor and Paul wanted their wedding to feel like autumn, full of beautiful seasonal colour and, of course, pumpkins! Their vision was warm, natural and full of character, with flowers that would bring the season to life throughout their church ceremony and celebrations at The Kedleston Country House. I created a cheerful mix of golden sunflowers, rich red roses, orange dahlias and spray roses, softened with delicate white flowers, berries and eucalyptus. It was the perfect way to capture those lovely autumn tones without losing the romantic feel of a wedding.
THE FLOWERS
Eleanor’s bridal bouquet was full of colour and texture, with sunflowers taking centre stage alongside deep red roses, orange blooms, berries and soft foliage. The coordinating buttonholes carried the same autumn shades, while the little flower girl had her own gorgeous miniature bouquet to match. For the church, we created autumn arrangements bursting with flowers and greenery. A large urn display with harvest-inspired details made a beautiful statement, while the altar and pew flowers brought colour through the ceremony space. The autumn theme continued at The Kedleston Country House, where seasonal table flowers were paired with miniature pumpkins. From the smallest buttonhole to the larger church arrangements, everything came together to create a wonderfully warm and personal celebration.
