A short story about the couple's brief
Leyla and Ronnie wanted beautiful, elegant wedding flowers while keeping to a sensible budget. Leyla’s favourite flowers were tulips, so a spring wedding was perfect timing! The brief was to create a classic, romantic look using seasonal flowers and clever, budget-friendly choices without compromising on the overall finish. With the bridesmaids wearing gorgeous navy blue dresses, we kept the flowers soft and timeless, choosing whites, creams and subtle greenery to create a lovely contrast. It’s a great example of how choosing flowers that are in season and being selective about where to spend your budget can still create a beautiful wedding.
THE FLOWERS
For Leyla’s bridal bouquet, I combined gorgeous white tulips with ivory roses, delicate gypsophila and eucalyptus. The result was a natural, romantic bouquet full of texture and movement. For the bridesmaids, we kept things simple with hand-tied bouquets of pure white gypsophila. Not only a budget-friendly option, but they looked absolutely beautiful against their navy dresses. A coordinating floral arrangement decorated the ceremony signing table, bringing the same soft, elegant style into the venue, with a delicate buttonhole for Ronnie to tie everything together. And we can’t forget their very special four-legged guest, who joined in the celebrations wearing a gorgeous gypsophila floral collar! Definitely one of my favourite photographs from the day! I loved creating these flowers and showing how a few carefully chosen designs can make a real impact without needing an enormous floral budget.

THEIR FEEDBACK
“Hi Emily, just wanted to share some of our photos with you that we had through today that show off our flowers! We can’t thank you enough again for creating such beautiful bouquet and arrangements! They were absolutely perfect!🥰 I have told the husband he will have to have you recreate my bouquet every year for our anniversary”
