A short story about the couple's brief
Some weddings are extra special, and Charlotte and Jamie's wedding in Dublin, Ireland, will always hold a special place in my heart. Charlotte is my sister, so not only did I have the pleasure of creating her wedding flowers, but I also got to celebrate such a wonderful day with my family! With the wedding taking place in Ireland, we decided that everlasting wedding flowers would be the perfect choice. They could travel safely with the wedding party, look beautiful throughout the celebrations and, best of all, be kept as a lasting memory of their special day. Charlotte's favourite flowers are hydrangeas, so these were an important part of the designs. We kept everything timeless and elegant, with a beautiful palette of whites, ivory and soft greenery.
THE FLOWERS
Charlotte's bridal bouquet featured beautiful white hydrangeas, creating a full, romantic design with plenty of texture and softness. The bridesmaid bouquets and smaller flower girl arrangements complemented her flowers perfectly, bringing the whole wedding party together. The flowers also featured throughout the wedding celebrations, with delicate floral details on the cake and little touches incorporated into the beautiful white balloon decorations. Choosing everlasting flowers meant we could prepare everything ahead of the journey to Dublin, without worrying about keeping fresh flowers looking their best while travelling. Seeing my sister walk down the aisle carrying flowers I'd created was such a special moment. Being both the florist and a wedding guest made this one I'll never forget! And the lovely thing is that Charlotte can still enjoy her wedding bouquet for years to come.
